The Ascent of Everest - Dark, Dark My Light

Electric Bonfire is a Midcoast Maine collaborative project of John Luft and Mitch Markowitz.  The band is backed by Michael Whitehead on bass and Terry La Mar on drums. The band has had occasional guest appearances from drummer Alex Owre, and multi-instrumentalist Bob New.  They play mostly original compositions and spontaneous sonic explorations that dive into heartfelt rhythmic grooves, honoring the traditions of psychedelic and the newer post rock movement.
