This is a live play-through, with a lead guitar added in post, of a song I wrote back in 2021. I was playing the Witcher 3 and a stumbled across a succubus, a monster that looks like a woman, seduces men, and then feeds on them. I thought there was an interesting metaphor there so I got to work. 

I imagine this tale being told around a campfire at some social gathering in the desert - a man is warning the youth to stay away from a woman who is dancing around the main fire, catching the eye of all the men. Is this song a metaphor, or is she actually a monster? I don't know anymore, man. I guess it's up to interpretation.

This is a song that I wrote for one of my favorite people, just to let her know that I appreciate her. The main take-away from the song is that life is short and can change very drastically, very quickly; so take time to enjoy the company of the people you love while you still can. Stop and smell the roses once in awhile.
