The Plots of Shaytān in Times of Trial by Abdulilah Lahmami

On his way to 'Unayzah to visit his family, Shaykh 'Abd Allah al-Qar'awi first traveled by sea to Jeddah. During the voyage, a strong wind nearly capsized the vessel. The people, ignorant of their religion, began to call on others besides Allah. The Shaykh admonished them and reminded them of their Lord. Initially, they heeded his reminder, yet when the winds intensified and the waves rose, they again called out to others besides Allah. So, the Shaykh continued to exhort them and call them to al-Tawhid, even after the ship docked safely in Jeddah. This is but one example of his strong will and unwavering resolve.
