This piece tells the story of two friends who are struggling to maintain their relationship, and what results is an argument back and forth between the two while on a train. They leave off on different pages, hopeful that maybe they can repair their friendship in the future. This story is told through train and railroad sounds expressed in the percussion, and a big change sonically between the sections to demonstrate the change in attitude between the two friends.

The Train

The title of this song is “Moving on”. The sounds you will hear are reminiscent of the ocean, her waves breaking on the shore as she sweeps away the past. When I first started making this, I felt so much freedom, a flow of creation that I’d been wishing I’d be able to achieve one day. 

I’ve moved on from wishing, I now can be, am, a musician. Moving on is a journey about both coming back to yourself and also growing up, the pains and joys that come with it, it builds into something new, somewhere unexpected that we hadn’t been to, before going home.
