Legacy Broken is a cinematic orchestral concept album that explores the psychological weight of legacy, family, and emotional silence. Blending restrained elegance with hypnotic minimalism, each track unfolds like a room in a haunted memory palace—echoes of conversations, legal inheritances, betrayals, and unresolved grief.

For me Iranian visual arts like architecture, tilings, rugs and etc have always been minimal. Not as a meaning of being less, but for repeating loops, being circular or mirror, adding layers to layers to achieve the final picture as a multi-dimensional but exclusive work.

And for me Persian Rug represents all those images and mininalism. The base structure builds in sides while in center different kinds of colors and shapes interconnect by repeatings and loopings to get the total product.
So it became appropriate for me to write a piece of music based on those visual art works.
We're talking about Iranian visual arts, so what's more proper for its music than Iranian instruments; such as Santour, Oud, Taar and Kemancheh.
The purpose was finding the commons in them; which i think is minimalism language, in an Iranian dialect.

"فرش ایرانی"
برای من همیشه هنر های تجسمی ایرانی، مانند معماری، نگاره ها، نقش های اسلیمی، فرش ها و ... نمود کامل مینیمالیسم بودند. نه به معنی کم‌گرا، بلکه به سبب تکرار یک چرخه، به طور ثابت یا متغیر، قرینه بودن، چرخش، روی هم قرار گرفتن چند اتفاق و پدید اوردن یک اتفاق جدید چند وجهی و منحصر به فرد.
و برای من فرش ایرانی نمود کامل همه این تصاویر و مینیمالیسم درونشون هست. ساختمان کلی در اطراف شکل میگیره، و در وسط، انواع رنگ ها و شکلها با تکرار و تکرار در این چرخه برای رسیدن به تصویر کلی در هم تنیده میشن.
در نتیجه ساختن یک قطعه موسیقی بر مبنی این تصاویر اسلیمی ایرانی به نظرم کاری منطقی و معقول آمد.
همانطور که از تصاویر ایرانی حرف میزنیم، در این موسیقی نیز فقط از سازهای ایرانی مانند سنتور، عود، تار و کمانچه استفاده شده و هدف تکیه بر ارتباط مشترک این تصویر و موسیقی، یعنی همان مینیمال بودنشان است.

قطعه سوز و گداز – دونوازی تار علی چولایی و پیانو ادیب قربانی .
سوز و گذاز نیمه‌بداهه‌ای از علی چولایی و ادیب قربانی و حاصل غم فقدان دوستی ست که به مرگ خودخواسته از دنیا رفت.

راهشان دور نبود، ولی از مجموعه جاهایی بود که در زندگی یا مدتی فشرده و مدام به آن سر میزنی یا اصلا صد سال یک بار گذارت نمی افتد، برای همین هم بود که هر بار چیزی در مسیر نسبت به قبل عوض شده بود، خوب به چشم می آمد. دم در ایستادم، از شلختگی درختهایی که از خانه ی قدیمی و بزرگشان بیرون زده بود معلوم بود خانه مدتهاست بی دلسوز مانده. در ِ بزرگِ فلزیشان شل و ول تر از همیشه بود، هر چه در زدم در را باز نکردند، داد زدم “شهلا خانوم” باز جوابی نیامد، به در تکیه دادم، در با سر و صدای زیاد لق خورد، صدای سگ همسایه شان بلند شد. خانه از آنچه فکر میکردم کهنه تر و دخمه تر شده بود، طبیعی بود، از وقتی حمید پسر همین شهلا خانوم از بین رفته بود دیگر کسی حال و حوصله ی جمع و جور کردن وضعیت آن خانه ی به آن بزرگی را نداشت. همسایه شان آمد، غر زد که چرا بعد مرگ حمید دیر به دیر می آیم. دعوتم کرد به خانه شان، گفتم آمده ام خاله شهلا را ببینم، ساکت شد، بدون حرف زدن کمی نگاهم کرد، برگشت و همانطور که به سمت در خانه ی خودشان میرفت فاتحه میخواند. کنار در خانه ی حمید و خاله شهلا ایستادم، کوچه خیلی ساکت شد، طبیعی بود، کلافه شدم، به در تکیه دادم،صدایش بلند شد و صدای سگ همسایه پشتش، دٓر که ساکت شد دوباره با کمرم ضربه ای دیگر زدم، ساکت که شد، دوباره شروع کردم…
