Stumbled upon an interesting chord progression and this song was the result.  Not inspired by anything going on in my life.

Live Another Day

Several years ago, our daughters had just started singing in a unique choral group called Voena.  I was particularly moved by one of their performances and felt inspired to write a song for the choir to perform.  To my surprise and delight, this song was accepted and performed.  Their version was a little different from mine as all of this was done in my home studio on ProTools.

Midwinter Night

My sister, Jayne, and I wrote this song for our dear Zia (aunt in Italian) Ada who is in hospice care as a tribute to her and all the lives she has touched. Very special thanks to an incredibly talented cello player, Harley Eblen, for his beautiful accompaniment.  A big thank you also to Annabelle Marie, founder and director of the Voena Children's Choir, for guiding me on the harmony.
