Hace mucho tiempo, tuve la dicha de presenciar una fiesta en un pueblito en medio de la nada. Esa fiesta hizo comprender lo mucho que se disfruta la música acompañadx de la familia, amigxs y unx que otrx invitadx. El olor de comida recién hecha le dio un extra a toda esa realidad de aquel recuerdo. Cuando cayó la noche y se encendieron fogatas, se puso música y se comenzó a bailar, fue cuando nació la idea de un track llamado “Así bailan los olvidados”, que fue incluido en un compilado de 21 canciones titulado “VEINTIUNO” en 2021.

La escena, aunque parecía hermosa, resultaba nostálgica. También se sentía miedo ante la idea de que toda esa felicidad y paz se extinguiera en cualquier momento, cualquier día, a cualquier hora, por alguno de los tantos bandos que deciden qué les pertenece y qué no.
Había preocupación por ellxs, pero la realidad es que tanto ellxs como todxs lxs demás no estamos exentos a las decisiones de aquellos que deciden qué les pertenece y qué no. Somos parte del olvido también.

Pero este EP no se trata de aquel recuerdo. Este EP es de un recuerdo actual de cómo lxs olvidadxs viven día con día caminando “entre aguas negras”, haciendo 4 o 5 horas en un transporte o vialidades que no ayudan y que hacen desear solo una cosa: “llegar vivx a casa”. Este EP, aunque está inspirado en sucesos no muy gratos, pretende hacer bailar, porque siempre la música y el baile hacen que todo sea mejor en la vida.

Este EP es un homenaje a los bailes sonideros que existen porque llenaron una necesidad de música, fiesta y cohesión social en los barrios populares. Es un gracias por resistir.

We like, we love, and we prefer more, the low BPM version, this 100 bpm version of the song, than the song at his original format. Brillant.
