Nicche is a friend of the crew, and more than that, one of our favorite producers/DJs in Sydney/Eora. His ability to impress emotion through his mixing and production, cutting from euphoric, passionate, to introspective, cathartic, and all the way back effortlessly make him a unique talent, and we're stoked to have him debut our Mixed Bag recorded series.

It’s been a wild year for Obeido, with landmark gigs supporting Neffa T, Young Franco, Main Phase, and Subsonic music festival among many others, and kicking off a residency at Chinese Laundry.
Through it all she’s built a name for herself with an undeniable selection, dropping deep and classic, wobbly cuts at parties on the weekly, always with a smile on her face.
And when she’s not rocking a dancefloor, she’s slinging some of the finest merch with her brand Parasol (@parasoluniversal).
She’s also a lovely person! And we’re stoked to feature her as our second mix in the Mixed Bag series.

Lucky number three is Dayshift boss and bass extraordinaire Bouki. 

If the measure of a DJ is how much they give back - the memories they make, opportunities they create, and sonic doors they open for others, Bouki is just about the best in the biz. 

A transplant from South-West England, Bouki has rooted himself firmly at the forefront of Australian electronic. His epic runs with his two crews UNDISCLOSED and Dayshift have pumped Sydney/Eora’s party scene to euphoric heights, and the latter has become an instant summer classic.

He brings an English flavour to his selection, weaving ripper bass lines through high-energy sets. Tried and true, but refreshing all the same. His ventures into production show a keen ear, and understanding of dancefloor mechanics. 

We’re so happy to have him on, and with all the love he’s shown it’s only right! Please enjoy

Yung Lemon is an award-winning sound designer, producer and DJ. A co-founder of the Sydney-based label, Eko-System, he makes a point of releasing music that captures the urgency of rearguard battle and sabotage of existing orders.



Yung Lemon’s Avant Garde productions appear on labels such as General Merchant, Inner-Theft, Bogoture Records, and many more. His distinct bass-heavy style travels the borders between traditional African beats, analogue synth and polyrhythmic textures. Yung Lemon’s originality stems largely from the continuing exploration of his Algerian/Amazigh roots. His conceptual frameworks are also informed by an imaginative application of Futurist and Science Fiction interests and his immersion in Australian Bush Doof culture.



Yung Lemon lights up the dance floor to reflect a world where people of all cultures get together to make change and spread love.

Jungist is Hong Kong-born, Eora/Sydney-based DJ, producer, presenter and curator. A stalwart on any raver’s weekend gig run sheet. 

Their mixes are wonderful. Fascinating and spontaneous. Entirely un-genreable but marked by a consistent return to heavy bass and enthralling percussion. This unique selection has seen them share lineups with bona fide legends, like Joy Orbison, ZULI, 4am Kru, Chase & Status, Sully, Giant Swan and many more, here and overseas. 

Whether throwing down a guest mix at a warehouse party, or thrilling bass-heads with their crew Decay (@decay.au), their spontaneity and love for the craft always shine through. And their much beloved late-night radio program ‘Variable Depth Audit’ on @fbiradio is one of our personal favourites.

Jungist | Mixed Bag 005


Hello baggers! After a couple of weeks off we’re back with another scintillating mix. This time, serving you another local gem, FineDining. 

FineDining is an awesome selector. A treat for any raver that discovers them behind the decks. Like finding a $50 note in the bottom of the laundry bin. Unexpected but euphoric, and absolutely life-affirming. A gift from the universe to those who make it to the margins of the night. Their lovely selection has seen them perform at beloved doofs and festivals across the country. 

An understated DJ with a characteristic but expansive sound, casting energy effortlessly from the subtle to the sublime. In their own words: “ I love trance of all flavours, with prog that makes you want to shake your ass being one of my favourites. I’m a huge sucker for a cheesy vocal or a frog sample and I can’t help but throw in a couple emotional/ kiss your besties kind of tracks at the end of a mix”

You’ll catch them spawning in on fbi radio, spinning down at any good, local doof, or thrilling punters with their event crew Contact (@cont.tact on IG). 


Finedining | Mixed Bag 006

Known far and wide for their thigh' shakin', head breakin', booty' bakin' style, BOYSWHOCRY are front and centre making sensual tremours on the Eora scene. Made up of an eclectic group of DJs, producers, and artists, this creative collective is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Australian electronic (and commercial logic) with their exciting releases and electric events.
