Coinciding with International Women's Day, this song is my tribute to a  songwriter and album that had a big impact on me in 1987, 10,000 Maniacs' "In My Tribe". It bridged perfectly the Indie and English Folk music I was listening to at the time. Natalie Merchant's writing, singing and attitude in general was and still is, a real inspiration.

The bell hangs well and injures none
