Over the years, I always sought the approval of other people. I never did what I wanted to do, or became who I always wanted to be. More importantly who TMH wanted me to be! I dealt with the pressures of wanting to please man when it wasn't reciprocated.  So I went into my pruning phase, shifting my environment-my cocoon. Shifting the way I thought, the way I moved. Growing in my Faith, in my walk. Learning me for who I am - flaws and all. Learning what I like and what I didn't, understanding so many things. Now that TMH has brought me out of that phase, he has transitioned me into this beautiful butterfly' full of light and beautiful colors that signify different gifts and wisdom. Im truly grateful that TMH has walked with me in this journey, kept me close to HIM In this time and now uses me to show ANEW. Shalom with all my love!

I wrote this song while in a season of trial and tribulation. I cried and cried as I looked for relief from the pain and stress. In my parked car, I sat in front of a local lake and turned this instrumental on. Moments later the words began to flow as I thought about my life, my family, nature and its connection to The Most High God. I realized that The Most High was with me all my life I just had to choose to acknowledge and embrace him.  This song helped me come out of a very dark place. That night I cast all my burdens unto The Most High and from that point on the enemy no longer had a strong-hold on mind. I chose to accept the promised gift of peace & I chose The Most High. You can too. I pray this song blesses you in the way it blessed me 100 fold. Barak Atha Family!
