Os presento mi sesión del pasado Retro Music Festival de Raveart, 60 minutos de auténtica locura sin descanso, donde cada mezcla y cada tema forman parte de un viaje muy personal. En este set he querido reunir infinidad de canciones que han marcado mi camino y mi crecimiento artístico, haciendo de esta sesión algo realmente especial para mí.

Probablemente este set sea poco para abarcar todo lo que significa la palabra retro y todo lo que esta música representa. Por eso decidí condensar muchas pistas en un torbellino lleno de energía y emoción, incluyendo tantas canciones como pude.

Tener 60 minutos para expresar un universo musical tan grande puede ser un reto, pero también una oportunidad: la de concentrar la esencia, la historia y la pasión de tantos años en un solo set.
Así es como entiendo y siento esta música. ❤️

Quiero dar las gracias al público, que estuvo ahí desde el primer minuto hasta el último, apoyando, bailando y entregando toda su energía. Sin vosotros nada de esto tendría sentido.
También quiero agradecer a Raveart por confiar una vez más en mí y hacer posible que vivamos estos momentos tan especiales e inolvidables.

Sorry for the delay getting a new mix out, I've been busy the last few years working hard on an album for a new project that I will announce next year, more news incoming!

I had the idea for this mix after finishing off the last Classic Breakbeat Mix a few years ago. Since then, I've been listening to old albums and collecting music that was pivotal to my musical journey. So many of these tracks were key moments in my life that sent me down a path that I'm still on today. 

As much as I love discovering new music, reconnecting with old music from a new perspective gives you such a great appreciation for how good this music really was. Putting this mix together was a great way to reconnect with these tunes, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

La verdad es que no tengo palabras para describir lo vivido el pasado sábado 1 de noviembre en la Retro Halloween 2025 de ‪Raveart. Siendo temprano cuando pinché, a las 21h, muy poco después de empezar la carpa estaba full de público. Hay vídeos en Instagram donde se ve que la gente está incluso fuera de la carpa porque dentro prácticamente no se cabe. El apoyo que he recibido ha sido realmente abrumador y la respuesta de los que estuvisteis conmigo durante mi set aún me tiene emocionado. Las muestras de cariño y apoyo tras la sesión fueron increíbles... Tardé casi 3 horas en llegar a una barra de los muchos que os acercasteis a hablar conmigo, felicitarme, pedirme una foto o una pegatina. Hay que inventar una nueva palabra porque GRACIAS se queda muy corta para lo agradecido que estoy a todos los que estuvisteis conmigo y a Raveart por contar conmigo. Yo desde la cabina lo disfruté en grande y creo que eso se ve en este vídeo. Una pena no haber podido poner la cámara del público más alta para que se pudiera apreciar la verdadera dimensión de lo allí vivido. En cualquier caso, aquí tenéis la sesión completa. As a teenager I always enjoyed the music my Father played on the acoustic guitar and piano, my father was a music teacher and always wanted me to learn but I dint want to. Finally I found the instrument I loved at the age of 17 Turntables. Me and my good friend David (IAMDJNRG) started with regular turntables, then of course I could not continue and he did becoming a professional, so now with technology so advanced at age 47 (as a Hobby) I decided to follow my love for the art of making people Dance, be Happy, and enjoy Life one Beat at a Time. I'm now 50 and regret not learning music from my father. He passed in 2019 due to cancer. I lost my inspiration for music and pretty much everything that had to do with music, he was going to teach me the basics and I figured that it would make his time during his chemo therapy a little bit exciting. But he only lasted 5 weeks, cancer did not even give him a chance to fight. Its almost a year later and I finally feel the Love for the music I had before. So here I go again very soon I look forward to uploading a simple mix Iam working on, its definitely challenging with out knowing the basics.
