Letting go has been crucial for us in defining our sound and bonding as a band. 

It’s about how the decision to let go can be painful, because we hang on to people or situations. Although sometimes it’s inevitable to let go, in order to grow and to make space for something new.

One Swiss franc per CD sold is donated at the end of each year to a project that protects or rebuilds nature. To give something back to Mother Earth.

After more than three decades as one of Sweden’s most in-demand backing vocalists, from Eurovision Song Contest and Melodifestivalen to Så mycket bättre and Allsång på Skansen, Britta Bergström has begun writing her own chapter. Last year she released I Mina Ögon, a song that captures how music weaves memory and emotion, blurring past and present. On that recording, some of Sweden’s most celebrated artists stepped in to sing backing vocals for her, a symbolic role reversal after years of Britta lending her voice to theirs.

Now she returns with I Mina Ögon (Acoustic Version). This stripped-down reimagining removes the layers and lets the song breathe. No choirs, no elaborate arrangements, only Britta’s voice and the story at its core.

With this acoustic version, Britta shows that I Mina Ögon still has more to tell. It is an intimate, unadorned and timeless performance from an artist whose voice has enriched and resonated through Swedish music for more than thirty years.

The Last Beluga Whale - Gert Holle 
Vor vier Jahren schrieb ich mit „The Last Beluga Whale“ einen für mich sehr wichtigen Song, mit dem ich aufrütteln wollte. Seitdem ist das Engagement für Umwelt, für unsere Zukunft allgemein leider spürbar eingebrochen. Auch wenn es in der medialen Wahrnehmung in den Hintergrund getreten ist: Die Lebensräume vieler Arten sind mehr denn je bedroht. Populationen schrumpfen gewaltig. Höchste Zeit zu handeln. Deswegen wiederhole ich heute noch einmal meinen Appell: Mache mit und setze dem Klimawandel und Artensterben Dein Engagement entgegen. Nehme nicht so einfach hin, dass wir das Leben vieler Geschöpfe unserem Gott des Wachstums opfern. Wir können etwas verändern, wir müssen etwas ändern. Mir liegt etwas daran, dass die sogenannte „letzte Generation“ nicht die „letzte Generation“ wird. Und Dir und Euch geht es nicht anders. Davon bin ich überzeugt. – Alles Liebe, Gert Holle. Four years ago, I wrote “The Last Beluga Whale,” a song that was very important to me and with which I wanted to shake people up. Since then, commitment to the environment and to our future in general has unfortunately declined noticeably. Even though it has faded into the background in media coverage, the habitats of many species are more threatened than ever. Populations are shrinking dramatically. It is high time to act. That is why I am repeating my appeal today: join in and counter climate change and species extinction with your commitment. Don't just accept that we are sacrificing the lives of many creatures to our god of growth. We can make a difference, we must make a difference.
