Jacid Jam from SQL & low& with Out of Sorts remix. In a serendipitous turn of events, three DJs found themselves entwined in the vibrant tapestry of electronic music, culminating in a collaborative EP set to enrapture audiences worldwide. The trio, comprising Goetzlich(Switchbox), Pim(SQL), and (Marcelo)Dreamawaken, embarked on a musical odyssey that began over a decade ago in the heart of Cologne. Despite their initial connection in 2010, it wasn't until 2023 that destiny intervened once more, catalysing a reunion that would redefine their musical trajectory. Goetzlich and Pim found themselves sharing the stage at the esteemed Evolution Festival in southern Germany, igniting a dormant spark of collaboration. The seamless fusion of their sounds reignited their creative synergy, beckoning them towards a shared vision. Recognizing Marcelo's existing partnership with Goetzlich under the moniker "low&", Pim seamlessly joined the fold, adding depth and dimension to their collective endeavor. In this debut EP on Beat & Path, you can sense an unwavering connection formed over years of mutual appreciation and artistic journeying. The track titled "Jacid Jam" whisks you away to a distant planet nestled at the edge of the cosmos. A mesmerizing Moog ambiance envelops your thoughts, guiding them to distant realms. Handling remix duties, Out of Sorts infuse the groove with strength, layering vintage percussion reminiscent of Plastikman atop an entrancing, acidic bassline. The story of Circulation is well-documented—and for good reason. His focus on streamlined dynamics consistently targets the heart of the dancefloor. In his debut Balance Music EP, the veteran delivers as expected with three effortless, tech-flavoured productions and one electronica cut, all flaunting the hallmarks of an experienced hand at the helm.

The committed deep tech rhythm and slightly ominous edge of 'Bedroom Lies' will entice and then utterly seduce you. Cloaked in darkness lies a bottom end glowing with distortion. However, a filtered house synth rises through the low frequencies to break the nocturnal spell, heralding a wonderful array of percussive hits and FX. Finally, an optimistic vocodered sample oversees the renewal, completing a moody electronic workout.

With a slightly retro synth singed in a melodic malaise, contemplative vocals, and super sleek drums, 'Don’t Look Back' ushers you into sultry depths. Enveloping you inside an 80’s action movie adventure, reach for this when you need to clean the palate and release some tension.

Like its Greek god namesake, the electronica of 'EOS' captures the essence of dawn, weaving gold across the horizon. Here, ambient washes of reverb shimmer through time. The velvet surface is punctured by vocal stabs and subtle percussive hits, comforting diurnal rebirth. These are exquisite frequencies for moments of reflection.

With a kick so confident it could spark Ragnarok, 'Viking Rodeo' is a stomping, bopping incursion through pure dance. The driving, syncopated bass feels restless but captures you with its infectious design. Alongside distant voices from the aether, a modulated synth blows with the victorious bluster of a fluctuating ocean wind, propelling this gem towards dance floor Valhalla.
