Danish hardcore act DEAD WITCH is proud to present their second EP, Forest of Bodies, which is available now via self-release.

Fusing together aggressive hardcore with heavy stoner doom, DEAD WITCH is a gut punch of raw emotion with key to the experience being vocalist Kenneth Sjølund’s intense stage performance. The EP's five tracks attempt to grasp the growing apathy in society and the challenges of life, along with the struggle with inner demons.

Forest of Bodies was recorded and mixed by Thomas Bøggild-Christensen and mastered by Olav Christensen in the band's native Denmark. Sluggish guitars, chunky bass and powerful drums drive the nearly 20-minute EP, showcasing the band's groovy, uptempo side, as well as DEAD WITCH's doomier influences.

DEAD WITCH was formed during the summer of 2016, drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres such as doom, sludge and post-metal. The band began playing live shows not long after recording their first self-titled EP the following year, and has performed with the likes of Konvent, Caustic, Drukner, etc, as well as earned a spot in the finals of Tinderbox Band Battle 2018.
