The continuous change to experience new sounds such as an indie house, blues, soul, deep house, minimal and techno tones, always bringing very special energy in their gigs with their crowd.

Köves is a Mexican Dj and Producer with a trajectory in the national scene of 10 years, he is currently working in the studio to create ambivalent House music.

He sign his first release this year on the German imprint Gryphon. He manages his own insign Reinventing Culture.

Adaman is an artist, producer, and performer currently based in Berlin. His unique style of music involves painting with sound and blending spectral sound palettes with volumetric ambience, creating a journey-like experience for his listeners. With a background in ethnomusicology and audio engineering, Adaman has travelled extensively around the world, which has influenced his music in many ways. He has been performing at Burning Man since 2007 and is a regular at events in San Francisco and Seattle. Adaman has released three EPs of original music, challenging genre norms and expectations. While he appreciates most styles of music, he particularly enjoys creating music in Organic House, Melodic House, Downtempo, and Electronica.

Adaman has also recorded a mix for us, which includes tracks from labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Akumandra, Trndmsk & KataHaifisch

Well-versed duo The Journey gravitate in the melodic techno and progressive house pool, opening things up on musically atmospheric note all while synthesising influences around them. 

Embracing electronic music’s poignant zest, they are delivering studio output supported by pioneers and humble music enthusiasts equally. Built to keep dance-floor hearts full, the Melbourne based producer, DJ and label pair have knelt to electronic devotees on one knee, warming up stages at the iconic Rainbow Serpent Festival, Pitch Music & Arts to Subsonic and Strawberry Fields Festival, while having cemented a solid debut tour in 2018 throughout Europe lined with an envious 8 hour long set at Berlin’s Sisyphos.  

Delivering ammunition for the club and a bunch of cosy-and-warm synths for the afterparty, with labels like Einmusika and Open Records Jacob and Tom have also collaborated with fellow Australian underground peer Pantheon with ‘The Conqueror’ on Dear Deer Records . 

Recent remix roles for singer-songwriter Running Touch on ‘My Hands’ acquired a well-deserved spot on Ministry of Sound ’s Annual 2019, amid remixing for ‘Treaty’ by Yothu Yindi attracting prodigious recognition resulting in The Journey being nominated for Music Victoria & The Age ’s Electronic Artist of The Year. 

As curators of Ugenius Music, the duo pass on their emotive production qualities, signing some of the most impressive local and offshore producers in their sphere.  

At the end of 2019 the boys released their huge singe Chasing featuring Australian vocalist Stace Cadet which has celebrated massive chart success both internationally and nationally. They followed up with two singles on Oliver Koletzki’s imprint “Stil Vor Talent” and Nil’s Hoffman’s “Poesie Musik” respectively which gained an abundance of international support. 

The road ahead derives inspiration from the last year’s vibrant success - musically on some of the world’ most celebrated record labels, amidst stacking shows across the Australian summer and straight to Europe where the pair’s second tour of the region is imminent. In the interim, tune in to The Journey’s The Quiet Night In, streamed live and on the regular.
