I love Gary Numan songs. His music has mesmerized me since the first minute I heard "Cars", many years ago.  I've always been amazed by the beautiful eeriness of his music and the emotional words and human feelings coming from perspective of "machines". In fact, just about every song I've ever tried to cover is probably inspired by the Gary Numan 'treatment' the most (that and Jeff Lynne/ELO's lush orchestrations).

This project started out in September 2021 when I had originally intended to do a cover of "Are 'Friends' Electric?", but somehow it morphed into a single 24-song medley of all my favorite GN songs when I couldn't make up my mind of which of his songs I loved the most. So instead of covering 1 song, I did all of them that I could handle. And then divided them up into 4 'sections' for easier playback.

The music was completed in January 2022. But I wanted to showcase them on YouTube. So I made 4 separate videos with the intent of giving the listener something to look at while they listened to the music and hopefully draw in some extra "likes". Somehow the videos took on a whole life of their own. And the finished vids ended up providing me with some still images that I could use to promote the music around the web.
