Hello my name is Oluwakayode Akingbade, KAKing a Nigerian-born American who has a love and passion for all things music. My early childhood inspirations being amongst Biggie, Tu-Pac, Jkwon, and other hip-hop artist. I then transitioned myself from hip-hop to Rock or at the time what would be known as Pop Rock, Panic in the Disco, Blink-182, All Time Low. I then my school band in middle school. Learning more about classical arts such as  Beethoven,  Bach, Mozart. I became more of a listening nerd wanting to acquire as many songs and as many genres as I could. As time went on I’d use YouTube to help myself find songs I’ve never heard shuffling through more genres like K-Pop, Country, and Folk. Later delving into EDM. Taking a break from college, expect for those small moments of piano, acoustic guitar, and singing. Dabbling with a DJ controller a father’s friend of mine one night I began thinking more about music. Right around this time school became more important causing me to put music down all together minus my listening till 2020, where a friend suggested I try DJing, fully picking up the instrument. From there I’ve fallen further in love with the craft as well as reawakened a passion for the other medians I once used.
