Arty and Ron forget to ask John Stanier of Battles, Tomahawk and Helmet about how he tried out for Ozzy. Instead Arty tries to get through a conversation without bringing up Yes in someway but compulsively gets  philosophical about Bill Bruford in reference to Stanier’s playing. Then tells really silly story about how he lost a shoe to Trevor Dunn but then fought to get it back at a Mr. Bungle show in 1990. Arty, Ron and special guest host Nick Emde (White Widows Pact) are joined by Kirk Windstein of Crowbar and Down to discuss Kirk’s high school football career and the NOLA all stars long musical history . Also on the docket:Twisted Sister's last show, Zebra, teenage shenanigans on Long Island, pregnant strippers in Georgia, and Kirk’s silky smooth radio voice. Finally, Arty manages to only use the bathroom twice.

This episode features an amazingly Shooootpid interview with Drew Thomas of Youth of Today, Crippled Youth, Bold, Into Another, Dead Heavens and many other awesome bands.  We discuss 80's pre pubescent hardcore, Josie and the Pussycats,  inside jokes, me becoming a drunk asshole at an F1 whilst on tour in the UK and just being Drew which is pretty awesome...most of the time.  
Arty and Ron also get deep about the racism of 80's WWF wrestling, no really, we do.....this is a fun one

ep 3- Drew Thomas (Into Another, Bold, Youth Of Today, Dead Heavens)

Arty and Ron's inaugural episode finally gets published.  Johnny Stiff is a classic NY native old school punk rock dude.  He talks shit about nearly everyone as well as telling some incredible stories while going through his entire history in the NY scene which spans from the late 70's till the present.  This dude was there for the birth of NYHC! We had some major audio issues with this one but trust us, it's worth the trouble.

ep 4- Johnny Stiff (NY Punk/HC legend)

Arty and Ron discuss some NYHC history with Howie Abrams, manager of In-effect records turned author of "The Book of Metal Lists" and the upcoming "Finding Joseph I: An Oral History of HR from Bad Brains". Ron is in the holiday spirit and feels the need to discuss AIDS and Arty contemplates one of his "stories" that he thinks might have happened but probably did, but might not have...entertaining nonetheless.  This is a great episode that could have gone on for many hours but as usual a band showed up to Vitus to play.

ep 5- Howie Abrams (Manager at In-effect Records, Current Author)

The Holiday Episode featuring an amazing interview with Thee Slayer Hippy, former drummer of Poison Idea and maker of much great music.  He discusses his recent stint in the clink and how he recorded 13 albums whilst incarcerated.  He is a fascinating guy with a lot of really amazing stories. Ron and Arty probably talk some smack about someone in the intro.  Ron neglects to mention AIDS in this episode...It's all in the name of Holiday Cheer!

ep 6 - Thee Slayer Hippy (Poison idea, The Skull)

Arty and Ron are back and stupider than ever. We get a medical professional to analyze if Ron is a hoarder or not. Arty discusses his recent UK tour and studio experience way too much. We talk to west coast legends, Samiam, who stopped in during their tour with Iron Chic. This truly needs to be heard to be believed. They tell amazing tour stories such as being bullied by the bass player of Creed, getting robbed trying to buy drugs and other unexpected emo debauchery.

Arty and Ron once again embarrass themselves silly while talking to film maker Drew Stone about his new projects, "NYHC Chronicles" and "Who the Fuck is Michael Alago" as well as his musical history growing up in NYC, moving to Boston at the birth of the Boston HC scene and playing in Antidote.
