Sometimes you find a piece of art that makes you feel different. It could be a movie, a song, a poem; especially as a kid I have memories where I remember being awestruck, to the point of feeling a bit uncomfortable, in the presence of something brand new.

In my video-game filled childhood, one song in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask always gave me this feeling. Despite being a child, it made me feel nostalgic, wistful and a bit lost. It only plays in one place in the whole game, and you really only have to go there once, so the scarcity of it made it even more special.

To end my little streak of video-game discussion, I'm releasing my remix of Astral Observatory.

In this song I tried to capture the haunting beauty of Majora's Mask, a hero's tale in a land doomed by time. Fans of the game will recognize various samples, both sonic and melodic, as well as few other details I put in to play tribute to moments in the game. This is some of my best work to date, and I'm so excited to share it with you all today.
