Keep Your Motor Running

These songs reflect various stages of my creative life.  I began writing songs as a teenager and have continued to do so sporadically ever since.  I'm originally from Springfield, Illinois and played in several local bands there including Magnum Force, D Best Blues band, Phantasy Now and my first band the Embalmers who made a record on the Van label.  A cover of Mr You're a Better Man Than I by the Yardbirds.  I went on the road as a full time guitar player for a disco band Led By Bobby Way called Wayout which turned out to be a full bore floor show band and another band called Sandy  Carroll and Cookin', also initially a show band which turned into a dance band that mixed disco with R&B tunes and some top 40.  I stopped for 3 years and resumed full time in 1986 with a band called Cruse which was strictly top 40.  Next came a house gig with a country band called borderline at a club called the Palomino.  That lasted over two years.  When that imploded I continued gigging with various top forty and R&B bands and am currently focusing on getting my own music recorded and heard.  Thanks for listening.
