"Timeline (Keep Calm)" was written during the uncertainty of the coronavirus outbreak in the US, and seeks to capture the confusing messages, particularly in online discussions, as we tried to figure out how to respond. I wish it felt less current nearly a year later, but it doesn't.

The song also nicely captures the dynamic of Weird Dad, which is a musical meeting of minds somewhere between Americana and punk.

Timeline (Keep Calm)

Weird Dad is a slightly off-center band in the Boston/Providence region. Our music meets somewhere between folk and hardcore, so it's mostly classic and alternative rock: everything from Bowie and Hendrix to Radiohead and the Decemberists. In addition to covers we write some originals at the intersection of our musical tastes, which you can find here.
