Kasey Taylor and Karl Pilbrow return to the label with more Antipodean beats. 

Melbournites Kasey and Karl are mainstays of a scene dripping in talent. The perfect combination of internation DJ and globally-successful producer, the duo have also notched up releases for Kasey's seminal label, Vapour. 

Opening the EP in dark, ominous soundscapes, 'Farlight' is a smorgasbord of beats and melody. Delovoping organically over the furtive first bars, a grimy bassline soon gives direction and drive. Arps twinkle, vocals adlib, and the sum of its parts reveals a thing of beauty. 

On 'Sublimate' a deeper path yields more melodic warmth. Icy pads and soft percussions create a warm blanket of sound that invelopes the listener. Never getting too intense, the ride is familiar and comforting, while still feeling new and wondrous.

Rounding out the pack with 'Wanderlust', the duo take us on a peak-time club journey. Immersive and mind-bending, the percussion is kept sparse to allow the interweaving sonics room to grow and evolve. The cinematic experience is capped off with cascading arps that take you somewhere spectacular!

Simply City returns to Sudbeat with an astounding double header. 

Breaking onto the scene in his hometown Santiago in Chile, via a DJ competition back in 2002, Simply City has built his career over the last two decades with one key message “Simplicity is the key”. This philosophy leaded him to own the residency at one of the world's best clubs, the infamous Stereo in Montreal, which has allowed him to develop a wildly original and fluid DJ style, so whether its Danny Tenaglia or John Digweed headlining, the warm up is always tailor-made and perfectly paced. On the production side, his music can be found among many of the scenes seminal labels including Hope, Renaissance and Global Underground. 

Opening with ‘Sound Sanctuary’ oozes with Latin flavour from the off. A subtle tribal vibe is beefed up with layers of swung percussion culminating with a sultry spoken word vocal midway. Delicate melodies and sweeps whisk you away magically. On the flipside, ‘Ripple Effect’ continues apace. Subtly tribal and hypnotically groovy, the vibe here is a little more late night but no less infectious.

Like in his djsets, Simply City reaches here a perfect balance with an EP that will provide some serious dance activities around the globe.

Purple Butterfly was born in Hungary in 1986. He was in contact with music in his early years, namely at he was 8, he began playing on piano. He began work as a DJ when he was 17. With longer or shorter omissons he have been playing as a dj since 2003. In 2013 he began create his own beats and in 2015 he took the name Giorgio di Verbero and contracted labels like Reload Black Label, Groovant Music, Phunk Traxx and Black Square.His music was played by artists like Spartaque, UMEK, Adam Beyer, YellowHeads etc.. Nevertheless he wanted a hard techno carreer so in 2017 began to create hard techno as El Erion at labels like Eclipse Recordings, Yin Yang, Dolma Records and he continue his techno carreer like labels as Renesanz. His tracks played by artists like Simon Patterson, John Askew, Dave The Drummer etc..  In 2018 he returned to techno and established the Purple Butterfly project. His style unite the heavy techno bases with the soft airy synths and powerful but bright  atmospheres. Already he have been contracting labels like Naked Lunch, Gain Records or Yin Yang and now the legendary IAMT.  He played as a DJ in some countries of Europe. In his sets he plays track from the deep progressive house to hard techno.  He has bold plans to the future.   Lyzanna is the one of the youngest music talent.  She was born in 2001 in Hungary. According to Purple Butterfly (her teacher in electronic music) there is music in her blood and bones. In addition to produce electronic music, she sing beautiful epic vocals, playing flute and write songs too.  She began learn the electronic music's basements in end of 2017. Her first release was a common remix with Purple Butterfly in 2019, and her firts own track, the River's Crying (in collaboration of Purple Butterfly) released on the massive Gain Records. In 2020 she contracted with Spartaque legendary label, the IAMT. If she follows this tendency then she is facing a prosperous musical future.  Her plan is to try herself in other genres too after she got enough practice in music.   

The Tracks:  Purple Butterfly met at first time with Lyzanna in 2017 and he recognized in her the budding talent so he began to teachnig her. Their first works was in 2019 but their common style become fulfilled and matured in this year via the Benefit of the Sense EP [IAMT].  Both of tracks on the EP is a perfect mixture of the danceable rhythms, the hardness of the techno beats and the emotional synthetic sounds. The Benefit of the Sense's atmospheres reflect the elementary force of the nature and the human factor's attemptions to control it. The Odds and Evens with the vocals unite the ritual mood and the unrestrained rampage. The strong synth sounds with epic soundscapes really spark the mind the body and the soul and produce a techno monster.
