A little song about what it's like to return to a group of friends after leaving them behind for self-care. In my case, it was my sensory processing disorder. I wrote about the feelings I held and my anxiety as well as the bright, beautiful things I behold when I am away. When I do come back, it's been welcoming and loving. Spending time with friends is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it can be overwhelming. When it's not, it's fun. It's a homely feeling to be welcomed back with open arms and then play games, talk about life, watch movies, and other stuff too. I guess we all need a little balance in our lives.
