Range  is musically inclined and this is demonstrated  in her writing. She is the future for a generation of conscious reggae. Her unique ability to deliver her message while gaining instant attention and engagement with her audience is nothing short of musical gold.  With each performance, Range effortlessly grabs her listeners attention as they digest every particle of her lyrics.  She quenches her audience's thirst with versatility, baptizing their minds in pure flowing lyrical magic.

Borned Shana Blair, Range spent her first 17 years in the rural areas of  St. Ann where she attended the Guy's Hill High School.  Range discovered her passion for music by learning to play a basic recorder in her music class.  Her persistence in practicing would result in a squeaky sweet annoyance to her neighbors.  

After moving to New York City, Range connected with and wedded her high school sweetheart who insisted that they both attend college together. While completing their degrees in Business Management he would still ensure that Range involves herself in music related activities to keep her passion and goals alive.  Her husband who was equally passionate about music knew how exceptional her talent was and insisted that she sees it through.  He constructively critiqued and edited her work while clearly stating his intention of showing the world how talented she was.  It was not long after he decided to have her begin working in the studio. Her talent left a positive impression on the likes of veterans like Luciano, Edd Robinson, Michael Palmer, Demus and  Pappa Biggie.  She was able to cultivate the desire to step out of her comfort zone while finding her place as an Artiste.

Range then started experimenting with different genres of music; her creativity  and distinction has brought realization of how special she is as a reggae artiste.  Her soulful voice as she belches out conscious and mentally refreshing music is unmatched.   As she continues to experiment with different beats creating her own uniqueness brainstorming  for an artiste name "Range"was effortless. 

In 2016 Range wrote and released the track "Inward Rasta" produced by Full Rev Entertainment and Kheilstone Music; performing the song for the very first time  at "Sound Di Alarm" Reggae festival hosted by the "Diamond Socks"Singer Ibamahr. She then proceeded to shoot the video for Inward Rasta in February of 2017 at Rasta Village in Miami Florida.  This single was debut by Reggaeville and recieved amazing reviews and feedback sparking hundreds of thousand views.  Range also debut "Sufferation" as a collaboration with Vershon produced by YG.F Records."Alone" produced by shellaz Records and her most recent "Six Feet Under" produced by Jugglers on the Zanzibar Riddim.  Range is currently working on other projects with her team due to be released in the summer of 2018. These songs  represents real life, the acknowledgement of a superior being, strength, positivity and awareness. Range believes that if we try hard enough we can all change the world through music  and make it a better place.
