It begins with the little things, like tiny toes tapping to the beat, almost without thinking until finally, the sexy, juicy asses are moving from right to left, soaking in the good energy all around.

Das Set war eine musikalische Untermalung der Ausstellung "Süße Zitronen". Es untermalt unsere diversen Herkünfte und soll so die Klänge der Heimat (orientalisch und portugiesisch) widerspiegeln. Für die Ausstellung war die Kunstakademie zu Gast im Schlosspavillon“. Fünf Studierende der Akademie der Bildenden Künste München verwandeln den historischen Raum in eine utopisch-idyllische Szenerie einer sommerlichen Gartenlandschaft. Inspiriert von persischen Gärten inszenieren Marjan Baniasadi, Roman Toulany, Leon Boden und Yaser Bashir unter dem architektonischen Konzept von Sam Hosseini einen atmosphärisch dichten Begegnungsort, der in seiner stilisierten Form zugleich Fragen nach Diversität, Gesellschaft, Hoffnung und Erwartung aufwirft.

Zitronen sind sauer, so unsere Erfahrung. Süße Zitronen hingegen klingen nach einem Widerspruch, einem dadaistischen Spiel der Unvereinbarkeit. Doch gibt es sie tatsächlich, und mit ihrem süßen Geschmack unterlaufen sie unsere Erwartungen und stehen geradezu sinnbildlich für das Überraschende. Hunderte von Zitronen, sorgfältig abgeformt, in Ton gebrannt und gelb glasiert, liegen in der Auslage eines Verkaufsstandes. Zwei große Bäume, ein Brunnen, Vögel, Laternen und weitere Requisiten vervollständigen die stimmungsvolle Szenerie im Schlosspavillon. Geformt wurde sie aus grauem Pappmaché, dessen Ausgangsmaterial – Tageszeitungen und Werbeblätter –immer wieder durchschimmert und mit seiner Spiegelung des aktuellen Tagesgeschehens sowie der Konsumversprechen moderner Gesellschaften die Idylle sogleich wieder bricht – ebenso wie ein Autowrack, das, insbesondere in Deutschland, immer noch für Wohlstand, Status und Freiheit steht, aber auch für Migrationsbewegungen und Mobilität über Grenzen hinweg. Eine Schaukel am Baum, konstruiert aus dem Reifen des Autos im Nachbarraum, erscheint dabei wie eine stille Erinnerung an die Träume der Kindheit.

Gärten besitzen in unserer Vorstellung, über kulturellen Grenzen hinweg, einen utopischen Gehalt von Idylle, der auf Mythen von Paradiesen und eines friedlichen Zusammenleben in einer unberührten Natur zurückreicht. Im dem Müßiggang gewidmeten Gartenpavillon der historischen Schlossanlage in Ismaning, dem Produkt einer feudalen Gesellschaft, erfährt das künstlerische Konzept der Idylle eine Erweiterung seines Kontextes über den Ausstellungsraum hinaus. Und wirft Fragen auf: Welche Sehnsüchte und Erwartungen sind mit Migration und Vorstellungen von Wohlstand, aber auch Demokratie verknüpft? Was verbindet Menschen im Streben nach einer besseren Zukunft und welche Werte erscheinen in diesem Zusammenhang universell? Welche Wirklichkeit zeigen die Medien und wie weit bestimmen sie unser Erleben der Welt? Und auch unsere Sehnsüchte?

Enjoy some warm summer tracks.

A large, inviting room filled with numerous works of art. Nothing unusual at first glance, except for the riso-printed posters of neon-orange € signs covering the walls. In an adjoining room, a DJ plays an atmospheric set next to a bar offering free drinks, with the abundance taken to the extreme.

You might often find yourself wandering alone through an exhibition, standing unknowingly in front of art that isn’t always immediately accessible. But at this vernissage, visitors can expect ambassadors—gentlemen in suits—to be on hand, ready to help guests uncover the subtle messages of the artworks.

This set is more than just music - it's a piece of my soul.

Growing up as a half-Portuguese girl, the sounds of Latin and tribal rhythms were the heartbeat of my childhood. My mother, with her deep connection to our roots, filled our home with passion, percussion, and warmth. Those sounds became my comfort, my joy, and eventually, my inspiration.

For a long time, I didn’t know how to give that part of me space in my music. 

This Latin Tech and Tribal set is the result of that homecoming. Every beat carries the fire of my heritage, every drop is a tribute to the strength and soul of the women who raised me, and every rhythm is an invitation to feel deeply, move freely, and connect beyond words.

I'm so proud to finally share this energy with you. From my roots to the dance floor—let’s lose ourselves together, because HIPS DON´T LIE ;)

This one is really special to me – probably my favorite recording so far. The energy of the crowd, the cheering in the background and the vibe on the dancefloor made this set such a joy to play and to listen back to.
