Jai Bella, Jessica Wilson, known as God’s Bella is hitting the scene with a melodious mix of soul, r&b, neo soul, and gospel. She was named God’s Bella because she is “Radiating the Beauty of God”. She honestly cannot be labeled, she is very creative giving messages of inspiration to elevate and empower with elements of neo soul, hip hop, and jazz.  She was coined as a “Diva of Atlanta” when she was featured at the Divas of Atlanta neo soul show case with Deanna Dixon, Dear Callie, Monica Chamile, Londee, Janet Elizabeth and Phillipia. She also had an impromptu performance at Soul Delicious where she had the opportunity to sing with the Cly-N-Tel band. She has also opened up for the r&b group, “the Rude Boys”. She personally wrote and produced all of her songs for the first time and she’s being very transparent to share her experiences and life lessons about love. This project is about love, heartbreak, and healing; it will take you through every emotion and you will be able to relate to her rawness. She was classically trained as a voice and theater major at Alabama State University Choir. She also sang jazz in the chamber choir where she was crowned Ms. Chamber Choir and Ms. University Choir. 

With both of her parents being ministers her roots are in the church. On the gospel scene she has opened up for Kierra Sheard, John P. Kee, BBJ, she was the featured artist for Sisterbration’s “Girls Night Out” and she was also signed to Shofar Records with Kervin Brown of Montgomery, Al. She went on the Unstoppable Tour with King Wes, Big Nate, just to name a few. She is no stranger to the theater stage, she co-starred in the hit play, “When Love Isn’t Enough” with Terrell Carter, Euclid Gray, and Marvin Winans Jr. Some of her favorite gospel artists are Lisa McClendon, Kierra Sheard, Tasha Cobbs, JMoss, Deitrick Haddon, Mary Mary, and Shana Wilson. Some of her favorite secular artists are Ledisi, India Arie, Jill Scott, Marsha Ambrosius, Chrisette Michelle, Kelly Price, Bilal, Tweet, Musiq Soul Child, Fantasia, and Stockley just to name a few.
