October sees the release of ‘The Bassment’s‘ Sunshine EP; one of the many highlights of 238*West’s 2014-15 release schedule. The original sees infusion of genres with an uplifting synth, a retro bassline and laidback beats that emulate into a monumental chill house track. CJ Peeton’s progressive interpretation of Sunshine mashes percussion with overlapping effects and toplines, which add depth and build seemingly endless tension to show why CJ has become a  favourite with everyone from Guy J to Nick Warren in recent times. The Tone Deaf Barbers, fresh from an amazing 2014 themselves, take the title track and turn it into an uncompromisingly imposing version that pairs an offbeat bass pulse with stripped percussion before an unearthly synth line takes over in the break.
