Del Shannon ahhh my homeboy! I grew up in a small town in MIchigan not far from where he grew up. I didn't know him personally but I had friends who did. I have such wonderful memories of that time and.his music. I was just 14 and later after I was grown I got to see him perform at the Allegan County Fair near his hometown. We lost him a few years after that so sad            did.
