I was inspired to write this song about my favorite Knave King and Boulder friend as portrayed by Supergiant Games', Hades. The myth of Sisyphus is a strong symbol of our daily struggles through life's seemingly endless toils. We all push a heavy, cumbersome object up a steep slope only to see it fall away from us as gravity's cruel embrace draws us back down to the foot of the mountain. We do this for eternity. Our only positive choice in the matter is to see the burden as a beloved. For then we see the toil is no longer a meaningless waste of energy, but time spent building a granite bond that will soften your inner hardness.
