Isolation as a concept in manipulation is typically attributed to the separation of the hunter’s prey from the pack. However, in this instance I have endeavored to explore the opposite. By exploring the motivations and ramifications behind being manipulative – the hunter becomes his own worst enemy.

Isolation as a concept in manipulation is typically attributed to the separation of the hunter’s prey from the pack. However, in this instance I have endeavored to explore the opposite. By exploring the motivations and ramifications behind being manipulative – the hunter becomes his own worst enemy.  Isolation becomes the only way he is able to understand why he is the way he his and at the same separate himself and shield himself off from the outside during this self-reflective period. Through a combination of remorse, guilt and ego, he explores the motivations behind his actions (“ALONE”), what he has lost (“SIDNEY”), why he has lost it (“CITY OF ANGELS”) and acceptance of his situation by seeking help [but not forgiveness] (“SORORITY”).
