Pablo Arrangoiz, a man of many monikers, has quite a few experimental releases as well as some dance floor treasures under his belt. His work navigates unholy experimental sounds, spooky atmospheric endeavors, clownish takes on Bach’s canons and much more. The Gurner, released under his new alias Baüzer Vep, fits the bill perfectly: it induces you in a dream-like, slightly nightmarish state, but does so with irony and without neglecting grooves.

Gurum Triads is a transatlantic guitar & drum duet album that explores multiple techniques (none of which involve playing guitar). London musician Dane Law uses a Max/MSP contraption of his own invention, which allows him to improvise in real time using samples of his acoustic guitar. Wisconsin-based producer/drummer Chants contributed cassette tapes of his drums & percussion to this process, and then took the resulting recordings and added additional layers of live drumming and self-sampled beats. The focus was never on the process itself but on the feeling and interplay of tactile textures, and on memories of shared post-rock touchstones.

Step Ball Chain’s unconventional prototype band trickpony is the 11th release on the ever evolving imprint. An assortment of sensual cyber jams collaged together by the trio over timezones, birthed in Perth, Australia by Mike Midnight and Roza Terenzi; old friends joined by Helsinki’s visionary songstress Maria Korkeila. A trinity of alchemy blossomed into an audio rendition of exquisite corpse, layers of each entity glistening through amongst a united cosmos; trip hop atmospherics and downtempo drippings.

The five track EP reveals a metamorphosis of nostalgia, a foot in the ever present and daydreams of future. A subconscious deep dive into lustful pop, guided by spine tingling vocal fantasies; textural hallucination, harmonic odes to the golden era underground and a flirtation with drum and bass, tribal percussive freakouts and dream tinged lyrics of desire.

Pillow talk is a timeless exhibit of esoteric treasures, a portal to a private world of modern enchantment that reveals itself in new ways each listen, music for lovers created by a supergroup of innovators to be digested, shared and cherished.

Pam Anantr, a Bangkok-based DJ, is known for her eclectic sets playing at iconic venues worldwide like Circus Tokyo, Wonderfruit festival, Beam Club, Zodiac Jakarta, Rinse FM to name a few. She has shared stages with legends like Sochi Terada, Danilo Plessow, Sadar Bahar, Dita, Mike Who and more. She was recently selected by Mixmag Asia as an artist to watch for 2024. Her sets are a vibrant exploration of genres, seamlessly blending soulful Disco, Boogie, Jazz-Funk, Electronics, and House, infused with jazzy, acid, and uplifting vibes. 

Pam continues to shape the local music landscape. She has recently launched her new project "Salon Kiku" a Sound Room/ Wine Bar and also founded a weekend festival called "Ritual Rhythm Weekend" which has a full programs line-up of Music, Workshop, Creative Marke...

If DJing is the art of setting momentum, then this is case in point. Rounding off the evening with an hour of spellcasting minimalism and emotive hip shakers, pai-lin dishes out tunes through a selectors confidence which bounces between trance, techno, and other-, with a persistent rhythmic tekkers. Flashes of progressive sentiment shift seamlessly into erratic technical play, an eclectic selection born of experience, moving between vocal washed minimal techno to that bush-centric mode of progressive. Think this caused a shortage of vodka mate behind the bar.
