“Try Me” is a leaked collaboration between Travis Scott and Jeremih. It was given the tentative title of “Left Cheek, Right Cheek” by fans.

Travis first previewed the song on November 18, 2015, at the Filmore as part of The Weeknd’s The Madness Tour. The version he previewed, however, featured a verse from him that wasn’t present on the final leak.

As the song was previewed after the release of Rodeo, fans speculated that the song would appear on Travis' then-forthcoming album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. The song didn’t make the cut, however, DJ SpinKing later said that the song would appear on his mixtape, For The Culture. Again, the song didn’t make the cut.

On January 27, 2018, one of the song’s producers, Vinylz, posted on his Instagram story that he plans to “finish” the track. Later, in May, Vinylz was seen in the studio with Travis. The following day, Vinylz tweeted in reference to the song. It finally leaked online on September 13, 2018.

S’il y a des gens motivés à faire des sessions créations via Discord ou autre, je suis disponible et chaud de fou

En résumé et pour terminer ce volume 8 du parchemin, c’est surtout un compte qui me permettra de voir mon évolution musicale sur la durée et rien de mieux que de flop sur une plateforme de grande écoute pour comprendre ce qu’il va pas
