Just experimenting with a new 8 Bit expansion pack.  Takes me back to my childhood.

Just learning looping in Ableton and thought I would expand on a riff idea I came up with on bass.  No Maschine on this one, as I was having too much fun on guitar and bass.

Escaped to the beach for Juneteenth and cut up a bunch of old spirituals in Maschine. I finally ended up using Wade in the Water, as I found a live choir performance by Fisk Jubilee Singers that I loved. I sequenced all the music on the Mk3 while enjoying a beautiful view in Pacific City, OR. This is still a rough mix at this point, as I want to add guitar and additional sections, but given how busy live is - this will have to do for now.

First test beat on the Maschine using scenes.  Drum kit reminded me of NIN, but ended up going in a different direction.

Just learning to use samples with my Maschine Mk3.  Cut up a ton of loops from Magnetic Coast and came up with this while watching PTFC trash San Jose 6-1!  A chill track from such a trashing.

Just a quick demo of my first attempt at slicing up samples with my new Maschine Mk3.  First part reminds me of Q-Tip solo albums.  Still learning, but I really love this device.

Just messing around on the Maschine with a sliced up guitar sample from the new Crate Cuts expansion pack.   Love the sounds in this expansion - wish I had more time to work with some ideas.

I got carried away while slicing & manipulating some picks from my new sample collection.  Way too much fun!  I highly recommend Loopcloud.  An endless supply of samples to cut up and drag & drop right into Maschine.

Shine Like The Son
