He saw her paintings in the subway 
coal-drawings simply black and white
one showed a couple at the seaside
one little moment 
just and simply right
then she saw him reading poems at midnight
sittn` on a bench alone
she asked if she could read one for him
she knew the book so well
she had the same at home
some years later he would write a poem
saying when i met you it felt like coming home
nothing ever did that good
with you i even like shoping malls
the way you`re looking at people and inventing tales so smart
so funny and absurd
you`re the best friend i could have found in live
and you`re beautiful and i love your smile and i
miss you anytime you`re not around

within the same night, `n the same town
sits an old man on a bed
watching his wife she`s finaly resting
so he doesn`t talk out loud
but holds her hand instead

we always mananged things somehow

he didn`t leave a second and was always there
spending comfort to her
saying we will meet again
I`ll see you at the other side
and then he played some music just her favorite song
it was "wayfaring stranger" and he sang along for her
beliving every word it said
and when she finaly past away that night he kissed her goodbye
and then he cried and cried
lonley as he never felt before
„....and all my loved ones who`ve gone on...I`m gonna meet you when I come....“
