Gesù bambino era comunista

Nuova versione di "The Disturbing Guest", incisa in Aprile 2020.

Qui si narra di un Cavaliere che si chiude nel suo castello per sfuggire alla pestilenza ed alla morte. Banchetti e giuochi, gioie e danze esplodono attorno a lui per creare un mondo protetto e salvo fra le solide mura del suo palazzo. Chiudendo le porte dietro di sé, però, il Cavaliere non si accorge di avere messo bene in salvo, nella propria dimora,anche una misteriosa ospite : una Dama, la cui identità si rivelerà sorprendente ed agghiacciante... .

Once upon a time the Lord of these lands
Lived  in his castle away from it all
He used every day to climb a tower
Through the spyglass  he watched the world.

Here came one day the enemy army
Killing the people and looting the city.
The Lord looked away and closed his ears
He wouldn’t see, listen or pity.

Then the plague came and his people died
The Lord closed the gate and so he felt safe
He called his friends of beauty and youth,
He offered them a banquet,a banquet for life. 

Just about midnight a Lady went in
She wanted to dance a gigue with the Lord  
Everyone wandered who was that guest
Dressed in white and carrying a sword.  

At last she spoke to the Lord and his friends
“You closed the doors and yet I came in
I’m your Lady, unmerciful Death
Tonight I’ll take you away with me”.
