Psycle.’s expertly curated catalogue continues with a new addition from Pow-Low that comes hot on the heels of his last single Crown back in February.

@Pow-Low is a core part of this label and keeps serving up the goods with each new offering. He hails from the Italian part of Switzerland but his musical endeavours have taken him all over the world. He’s formally studied drums with Pierre Favre, been playing in bands since his teenage years, studied recording engineering and production and worked in high end studios in Hollywood and South Africa as well as DJing with lot’s of passion.

REBEL is lively house music that is enriched with warm, smeared chords, tribal bass and funky female vocal chops. It features live drums recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.

I had the great honor and pleasure to produce the 5 new tracks on this album! I had a great time working with the band in the studio and on the road. We used the NED Synclavier Tapeless system extensively on this record.
For me another amazing experience was the remix of the CORONER's legendary track "Grin", that led into my own band project "No Religion".

The three snippets from this record were remastered in September 2021.

The Penniless Wild is an indie/folk/rock outfit based out of Hartford, CT. Originally comprised as a folk duo, they have since transformed into a five-piece electric unit, while holding true to their folk style of writing. The band released their first studio project in late 2017 entitled “Cardboard Sheets” and have been performing regionally in support of the EP playing with bands like Good Old War, Bronze Radio Return and The Ghost Of Paul Revere, to name a few

Replacing acoustic guitars with electric guitars and the stomping of feet with driving bass and hard hitting drums, the band brings an intense, heartfelt rock and roll aspect to their music. Recently nominated for Roots Act of the year in the New England Music Awards, they are picking up more and more momentum and are currently in the studio recording their second record.

TURKUAZ (Los Angeles) - Tiptoe Throught The Crypto  ___ mixed and mastered 🖤

Rebecca Haviland and Whiskey Heart, a roots rock Americana band based in New York, consists of bassist Chris Anderson (Martin Sexton), drummer Kenny Shaw (Dispatch) and B3 player Todd Caldwell (Crosby Stills and Nash).  Rebecca’s big vocals and intimate songwriting accompanied by her soulful band break new barriers with their unique form of Americana. Their album Bright City Lights released in 2018 was called “hauntingly beautiful” by Paste Magazine, and “the rare seven song disc that deserves to be stretched to a full length” by Chronogram.  After completing a tour opening for Martin Sexton in 2018, Rebecca and her band released two live albums, Sun Studio Sessions Volume 1 and Volume 2, tracked across two late night recording sessions at the famous Sun Studio in Memphis, TN where artists like Elvis and Johnny Cash made their first recordings.  Their episode of Sun Studio Sessions Live taped for PBS and other public television stations is airing now nationwide.  The new single, Hide Away, inspired by a collection of late night memories, will be released May 17th with tour dates to follow.

this is a remaster of the band ZEROp. the band recorded an album at the legendary BOP-studios in south africa in 1992.
the tracking was done in studio 1 (as seen in the picture) on the largest focusrite console of the world. recorded digitally with a 48-track studer tape machine and the NED-tapeless studio (synclavier). due to the fact that the multitrack tapes went „missing“, the album was never mixed as such.
the ruff-mixes from the recording sessions were later released on CD.

the band consisted of bandleader and guitar-virtuoso angi schiliro (KINGDOME COME), on drums the magnificent diego rapacchietti (CORONER), further more claudio schiliro (vox), enzo butta (bass) and demetrio pisano (keys).
the record was produced and engineered by paolo fedrigoli at BOP studios south africa (remastered 2022 at SCHALLZENTRALE soundstudio by paolo fedrigoli).
