In this episode Ruby explains how her desire to show up as an athlete as she transitioned from high school track athlete to collegiate student-athlete inspired her to start the Everybody’s Running Podcast to tell the stories of track and field athletes that give insight on their trials, triumphs and transcendence.

The Everybody’s Running Podcast is hosted by Ruby A. Jackson, a native of Chester, PA.  Ruby is a former elite Division I Track and Field athlete who attended Seton Hall University.  She has a degree in Biochemistry and various certifications for Track and Field and Sports Performance Coaching.  Her passion to provide platforms to underrepresented minorities in sports is what inspired this podcast which will explore what it means to run well in life, sport and beyond!

Today we catch up with Ruby for another solo episode of the Everybody’s Running Podcast, a new wellness podcast for track & field athletes.  In this episode Ruby explains how she has lived most of her life in fear. She shares a letter she wrote to her sister, a former track & field athlete, mother of 4, who has always lived her dream as an entrepreneur.  Ruby shares this intimate letter to her sister Delilah and explains what it has been like to grow up in fear, and how she made the decision to go all in and R-U-N towards her dreams.
