Man of the hour X-Coast kicks off our ZeeZout advent calendar with his set from ZeeZout Festival 23. The Serbian-born who’s now hailing all the way from Brooklyn shows us once again why his versatility is taking him from stage to stage across the globe, seamlessly blending influences from all kinds of genres, blending disco samples into playful, upbeat tech-house grooves. Long-time members of Club Heart Broken, the duo are known for delivering high-speed euphoria through their electrifying blend of acid and house.

LIL DARK ONE

Behind the moniker LIL DARK ONE stands Kieran, a DJ and producer whose name quite literally shapes his sound: in Irish, “Kieran” translates to “little dark one.” That duality between light and shadow, playfulness and intensity defines his sonic world.

It’s a project steeped in mystery and motion, where hard techno and trance collide with groove and bounce, blurring genre lines and igniting dance floors with a fearless hybrid energy.

Drawing influence from EDM’s euphoric highs, Latin rhythms, and African-rooted percussion, LD1 channels a global pulse through a distinctly UK lens. Based between London and Liverpool, his sets thrive on contrast: darkness delivered with a smile, intensity softened by groove, seriousness that still makes you move.

Before stepping into this new chapter, LD1 built his foundation under the alias Meckiah, sharing stages with artists such as KI/KI, X Club., Effy, and Tommy Holohan. Now, as LIL DARK ONE, he turns that experience into something bolder, a project that bridges underground grit with ecstatic release.
