2 acres of Portland charm
This is where we have settled
Out here in the country calm

All of us in this giant house
My kids and my spouse
My son in law and the animals.
Runnin around and gettin down.

Merey and Korey livin upstairs
With Arlo that cat of theirs
And adam living in the giant suite
Waiting for his house repairs.

Lydia also living upstairs
With her cat called Cloud
livin 3600 square feet
no worry about an overcrowd.

Downstairs is me and Crissy
Livin life large
And our dog Charlotte
Playin frisbee in the yard

And lydia’s kittens, Hazel and Luna
Growing up to be our mousers.
So much energy runnin around
Like a couple of rabble rousers.

And those funky chickens
Outside and in the coop
Learning to take care of them
Sure has been a hoot

The surviving chickens out there
Laying all those eggs
Lucille, Eliza, Hilde, Gwendolyn
Feel those silky feathers.

Rest in peace to the chickens
That didn’t make it through
A hawk attack and natural causes
Sent them to their doom.

Peggy, Leona, Angelica, Jolene
Now we have a rooster.
Russel Crow watching over our flock
If only it were sooner.

Now we’ve been here for a year
Learnin to live the country life
It’s so peaceful for all of us
Specially me and my wife.

Rockin on our rockin chairs on the porch
Watchin the weather go by
Livin the peaceful life with my wife,
Man that’s so fly. yea!

Now we’re shakin and bakin at Skate Haven Farm
Plantin all the bamboo.
Soon it’s gonna be a bamboo paradise
You  too can walk throooooooough...

Skate Haven Farm

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but my sharing has died down quite a bit over the past month.
There is a reason for that. I have become overly consumed by information and world events.
I am taking the next 3 months or so to just plain "tune out" to all the politics, war, rioting, etc. and going back to my place of peace.

This is example 1 of where I have been.
This particular creation has been a 4 year journey, and I finally have it where I want it.
