Wicked heavy sound, love the reflective lyrics, very cool!

I didn’t just listen… I got spiritually yeeted into a cinematic montage of all my worst decisions playing backwards in slow motion. This track didn’t “play”, it gripped me by the collar, whispered “you made this life,” and shoved me into a memory I forgot to repress.  “Blood-stained hands”? Yeah. Mine now. “Falling sands”? I tried to glue them back in the hourglass and ended up covered in metaphor. This song is a mirror that heckles you while you cry in the bathroom, poetic, devastating, and way too calm about the chaos. I didn’t survive it. I became it ✨🩸🫧 Twisted fate? More like emotionally ambushed by a ghost made of guitars.

There's that fat guitar again... there's something very british about your music, and I've liked that britishness for decades (several)! Good stuff.

This song is actually more of a poem. But I only realized that when I tried to set the text to music after I had written it. 
"I count on you" is a song written as a heartfelt thank-you to the quiet companions in our lives — those who stand by us when times get tough. 
Sometimes, these are the people who understand us without needing many words. Sometimes, they are the loyal, four-legged friends who remain by our side through the years. And sometimes, it’s a spiritual presence that carries us through our darkest moments.

This song is about that steady, silent presence — the comforting feeling of not being alone. It reminds us how much strength can be found simply in being there for one another. Some call it friendship, others call it love — some believe it is God. Ultimately, it’s about connection, trust, and the quiet certainty: I can count on you.

A heartfelt thank-you to Andreas and Colter, who deeply inspired me in the creation of this song.

But "I´m not that kind of man"! That´ s what a friend said looking for a partner for life checking the "Small Ads"!
Long before "Parship" we had so called "Eheanbahnungsinstitute" in Germany (lit. transl. leads a bit astray ..something like" Institutes for Marriage Initiation/Negotiation" ;) anyway these marriage agencies offered "models" on display of both sexes in their glossy brochures (nobody got to see or even meet these  good looking Ladies and Gentlemen!)
Hubert and I had the idea for a song with an ironical story ..we both liked the chorus lines I came up with...and the demo was made in almost no time... here it is..  better use Headphones!

Hi, I’m Krissie 💜 I have high functioning autism, which I proudly call a gift, though sometimes it drags me into beautifully bonkers territory. I played saxophone for over ten years (seriously, I could wail).. until I got ill and my arms went on strike. But music? It stuck around. So now I do what I can, I write, engineer, and produce my own songs, shaping them with whatever magic I’ve got left, plus a few emotional plot twists. All my life, I’ve had to hide who and what I am. I’ve never been what the world calls “normal.” As I say in 'I Don’t Write Songs "I Survive"', my brain just isn’t wired the way it should be. I’ve been called weird, not right in the head, bonkers, even crazy. So I learned to mask, to shrink, to pretend. But here.. here, I get to breathe. To be.

And it’s not just the music. It’s the comments, the replies, the strange and sparkling conversations where I finally feel like I don’t have to filter myself. I can be full volume, full chaos, full heart, and somehow, that’s not just accepted, it’s welcomed.

You beautiful humans (and possibly aliens) have given me something I never thought I’d find, a place to be fully myself. To speak how I feel, to show what I see, and to turn it all into sound and words without shame. The way you’ve welcomed me, supported me, seen me, there are no words. (Yes, I know. Me. The Queen of Words. Speechless. Don’t get used to it.)

My heart is so full of love and gratitude, I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t burst into glitter. Thank you. All of you. From the very bottom of my shoelaces 🖤🎶🧦
