It's a truly Latin American affair as Chilean producer Rasgar meets with Uruguayan artist ojosfinos on a thumping track called 'Mapas', a taste of the upcoming 'Intersticios' EP which is set to come out on a Colombian label Artificio. The release - that will otherwise feature further Latin American talents: Rachiid Paralyzing, Brainscan and Alfacenttauri - focuses on the experimental electronic music soundscapes based on diverse genres like techno, glitch, ambient, noise or even funk carioca, all imagined by multi-talented Rasgar whose experience of not only being a DJ/producer but also curating a sound art festival and creating audio installations for musuems resulted in this ambitious EP.

"Habitualmente preparo los mixtapes de A a Z, y últimamente siento que pierdo demasiado tiempo en el aspecto técnico de la mezcla y no logro transmitir lo que de verdad tenía en mente. Decidí abordar este mix como un DJ set en vivo y dediqué mi tiempo a preparar un par de crates que me permitirían jugar y experimentar de una manera más libre, para después grabarlo como un freestyle en una sola toma. El resultado es un mix representativo de los sonidos y las emociones que me acompañan durante el largo invierno canadiense."
