This album is Classic Rock…Vol.8 which continues with more classic rock hits across the genres and generations. It contains music from (1953) to (2012). 

Pretend is a popular song, written in 1952 by Dan Belloc, Lew Douglas, Cliff Parman and Frank Levere. It was made famous by Nat King Cole in 1953. This is an upbeat version using the same lyrics and I have added some extra elements to match this Album’s theme by making the song into a rock anthem, instead of a love ballad.

‘Evil Woman’ is a song written by lead vocalist ‘Jeff Lynne’ and recorded by ELO. It was first released on the band's fifth album, 1975's ‘Face the Music’. ‘Livin' Thing’ is also written by ‘Jeff Lynne’ and performed by ELO. It appears on their 1976 album ‘A New World Record’ and was also released as a single.

Eighty’s hits include ‘Urgent’ which is a song by the British-American Rock Band Foreigner and the first single from their album ‘4’ in 1981. ‘All I Want Is You’ is a song by Irish rock band U2. from their album Rattle and Hum’ and was released in June 1989.

‘Addicted To Love’ is a song by English rock singer Robert Palmer released in 1986. ‘You Can Do Magic’ is a song by singer-songwriter Russ Ballard that was recorded as a 1982 single by folk rock duo ‘America’ from their album ‘View from the Ground’.

Ninety’s Hits Include ‘Angela’ which is a 1992 song by the Austrian Band ‘Moonbeats’ and was written by Andreas Gasse and Gerd Joring.

Hits from 2000 onwards include ‘If I Were A Boy’, which is a song by American singer Beyoncé, written by Toby Gad, BC Jean, and Beyoncé Knowles for her third studio album, I Am... Sasha Fierce’.

I’m very happy and proud of this classic rock album, which I feel is up there as one of best albums I have recorded and produced to-date.
