Instrumental, possibly poppy but certainly quite upbeat - to me anyway!  Grew from a desire to do a simpler song sound wise, and use a disco drum kit I downloaded  a few months ago.  Quite pleased how it turned but, of course, ended up getting quite complicated as I did one of my longest ever sequences for the ending.

Discarded track for the AE Modular compilation. Gets unweildy toward the middle. Maybe I should have chosen this one anyway. 

Uses: 2 PikoCore modules, 555 Oscillator, and a bunch of the usual suspects.

Uptempo Instrumental. This  track started from messing around with just 3 notes for the bassline, and it all grew from there...  It was very much how I used to work in my pre Akai MPC days so was quite fun.  I didn't want to do quite my usual sound and I feel I succeeded, hope you enjoy.

Midtempo instrumental. After my last track being like my pre-MPC days, this one is like when I first got an MPC. The MPC does the drums and then synths provide all the music. This was good fun so will be doing a lot more of in 2025, hope you enjoy.

Disquiet Junto Project 0679: Ice Age
The Assignment: Record the sound of ice in a glass and make something with it.

With my Zoom H5 I recorded some Ice Cubes falling into and moving inside a salad bowl made of glass. I made a lot of efforts to get most out of the sound, for example I placed the bowl on a clotheshorse, so that it can swing more freely … but at the end I didn't use these sounds. I applied a lot of diverse stretching and reverb to get some pads and made a Pigments granular patch with some sounds I liked most. What I had planned didn't work and I made a lot of unusable detours. Now it's mostly an improvisation over some kind of instable repetitive structure, and I like it. All sound is based on the ice cube glass recordings; you may assume there are water noises, but it's really (stretched) ice, maybe sometimes with some surrounding meltwater.
