	Born on Jan 27th 1985 Lamont Darling is the child of Staphen Darling and Melissa Mcphee. As a child Lamont fell in love with music whether it was the thumping beat of the goatskin drum to the pulsating sound of rake n' scrape he just had to be apart of music. He attended the Government Secondary  High School where his talent was crafted and molded under the tutuelage of Chris and Yonell Justilien. In 1998 he joined the Shell Saxons Superstars Brass line where he shined like the star that he is. One year later he found himself in the Royal Ambassador and pathfinders Band. But in January 2012 the magic of the artist "Exec'' came to life as the determined and hungry young artist recorded his first studio release "Its the Weekend" produced by Ira Storr and co produced by himself. "Exec" was reborn as a songwriter, arranger and artist after forming a partnership with long time friend Ray R Ewing. After this historic collaboration the production crew expsditiously began crafting full productions for local Bahamian artists "Qupid" where they gave birth to "Obeah In Da Cat" and "Petah Parker" and later they worked with Ebony where they produced " I Ga Need Dat Lil Ting" and "Block Da Road". Lamont proved himself to be a multitasker as he was also working on his own productions during this time. "Exec" First single released under At Da Table Ent. titled "Bimini Island" was a hit. In November 2015 his singles "I'm Coming Home" and "Party on Baystreet" hit the radio airways which gave the young Bahamian artist momentum heading into 2016. In Feburary 2016 Mr. Darling confirmed with The Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival Committee that his single "Mash It Up" had been selected to compete as one of the top 20 songs submitted. On the high of this news he channeled his excitment, went back in studio where he released his fifth promotional single "Back It Up" where he has already recieved thumbs up from the masters and gatekeepers in the local music industry. With Discipline, Dedication, Determination and Desire as his fuel Mr. Lamont Darling is looking forward to climbing the charts while bringing a new and youthful flare to Bahamain Music in 2016.
