Destination Unknown are 3 guys living in Deventer, the Netherlands. Those 3 are Timo Meulenbrug aka Tobias Oakly, born 15th of october 1991, Lennart de Wilde aka LDW, born 2nd of may 1991 and Ricardo Bril aka RicoB, born 14th of may 1992. Early 2016 they started this project, just to have some fun, but after 2 produce sessions, things really felt good, so they wanted to go viral. Their first track finished was Viewpoint, finished late march 2016. When finishing the track, they needed to look for a project name. Because the 3 of them weren't completely in the same style as music, and they didn't want to follow just 1 particular sound, they came up with the name "destination unknown".

But before "Destination Unknown", they already were doing some things in the music business. Timo and Ricardo already know each other since they were 4 years old, and they started jamming around in the studio late 2010. Together they had already a few successes, but mostly a lot of fun, which felt the most important when working together. 
Lennart was already DJ'ing a bit in small clubs in the Netherlands and started producing late 2012.
