I was imagining someone going through their first breakup - devastated at first but trying to be understanding. Then they realise their partner has cheated and it all gets messy.. but fuck it, they're way better off without them. I tried to piece it together so the lyrics are like little vignettes of the thoughts in their heads and the messages they would be sending each other. Some of it is more abstract and just using sound to tell the story. It's a mix of tracks I love from the last few years and a few new bandcamp discoveries, hope you enjoy!

In 1999, 2 years before my debut album „Time to Speak“ at A Different Drum Stardust was one of the tracks I promoted WAVE IN HEAD with at MP3.com and my own website. The lyrics are mainly about fame and my perspective to that subject at that time.

Years ago I had approached the song again but never finished it. Now in 2025 I finally reworked the whole song and made the best possible version out of it.

Here are some production informations for those who are concerned:
