At 18 Shibari Storm discovered techno raves and it was the first time in their life they found an environment where they could be themselves and be uninhibited through the movement of dance and sound of Techno.

Rave became a temple for Shibari Storm to let go, that later on gave them the interest to explore how it felt behind the decks.

Techno isn’t about race, religion, age, gender, class, sexual orientation or ableism. It’s about breaking social and cultural misconceptions. It inspires the freedom to create, explore, dive deep into both masculine and feminine energy and not conform. 

Feeling the music is a meditation and mixing at the decks creates the trance for people to lose themselves. 
Shibari Storm uses Techno as a way to escape reality, as therapy for mental well-being and to connect with others through the unspoken language of music and movement whilst breaking boundaries.
