The forests chime with mute longing,
When the trembling night embraces them
And jealously hides from the eyes
The charms of their original beauty.

Forests burst with lively joy,
As the morning flares up at the edge of the sky,
As the fiery sun lifts the veil
From their original and pure beauty.

It seems to me - maybe, I don't know -
It was and will always be like this:
Love, like the sun, reveals to the world
The boundless greatness of human beauty.

And that's why the world always blesses both
