MGM Records released a full length LP of Mae West singing contemporary hits in 1972. Quite ridiculous and amazing at the same time.  Here is the Doors classic "Light My Fire"

Legendary bandurist Zinovij Shtokalko (1920-1968)was first recorded by Myron Surmach of Surma Records in NYC in 1952. Dr Shtokalko was regarded as the greatest bandurist of the 20th century.  Here he sings the duma (epic ballad) about Marusia Bohuslavka.
