Stop and Think

Everywhere you look the children scream
Everywhere you go, you’re wandering
Now and then it’s time to stop and think

Once there was a time when you could say
What you thought was right with no delay
Now THEY try tell you what to stop and think
Fall in line with us or you will pay

Hidden in a message so you won’t know
The lie they lay before you is touch and go
You can’t really trust them you should know

They are not the future that you expect
Selling broken promises as a bet
Their genius of corruption with no regret
Masters of deception you ain’t seen yet.

Stop & Think was recorded using a Korg M3 workstation, a Sennheiser e835 microphone, a Lexicon MX300 effects processor, and a Tascam DP-24 digital multitrack recorder. There is no sequencing; the first rhythm track you hear was taken from a drum pattern within the M3, just to set a tempo. All other tracks were individual takes; imperfections exist, tho each track is a performance. If I messed up, I started over, no editing. The vocal tracks were recorded in a rehearsal room at a local music store, and were the first time I ever sang it. Lead vocals are Take 1 on the left, take 2 on the right. I also did a harmony track in that session. Additional vocal effects tracks finished it off. The DP-24 has internal mixing and mastering effects, eq, compression etc.

WOJamz. The cover songs are from a prior band, many moons ago. The original music is unplanned, without a band. The recordings are from the 80’s to 2020. I used what was available at those times to make and record sounds. Cassette at home, reel to reel in a studio, digital multitrack at home. 
My musical journey has been long; and it is
